What this all comes down to is how expensive it is to get care even when you do have insurance! What if you hurt yourself and need a helicopter ride to the hospital? You&amp;#39;ll be broke for a very long time just from that trip! We have to bring down expenses for the middle class and working poor so we can afford to take care of ourselves, because even preventative medicine (check-ups etc.) is too expensive! Instead of adding taxes on all the sugary drinks though, how about making healthy stuff like milk and juices cheaper? I support the government eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, I do not support a government owned health care system, or any other type of business.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Why you ask?  Because government has no competition.  They have no reason to run lean and profitable.  Government has the ability to take away 100% of our income.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Give me a single example of when the US government ran anything, ANYTHING better than private enterprise?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What?  Can&amp;#39;t come up with a single example?  Huh??&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The problem with government is that they THINK they have unlimited resources with OUR money.  That isn&amp;#39;t true.
