It will be even better when I get the trim and sofets done.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Clever Dude -&lt;br /&gt;they didn&amp;#39;t take the old siding off. They put thick insulation over the top of the old siding, making that siding part of the insulation. Then put on the new siding on top of that.  &lt;br /&gt;I had thought of getting insulation blown in before, but now I don&amp;#39;t have to worry about that, as my walls are now insulated.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A few years ago, I put in a new shower kit when the old shower wall rotted out.  While they had it out, I had a roll or 2 of insulation added, before they put the new shower kit in. It involves drilling a 2 inch hole between each stud and using a rented blower to push cellulose insulation into the walls. We&amp;#39;re actually doing it for our home this weekend. We have to pop off a few rows of our vinyl insulation to do it though.
